Dr. James Harbrecht of The University of Kansas Hospital, has agreed to serve as Honorary Chairman of the 2011 Golfology fore Cardiology tournament.
Dr. Harbrecht’s clinical practice is focused on Consultative Cardiology, Heart Failure, Valvular Heart Disorder, Heart Valve Disease, and key to his involvement in Golfology fore Cardiology, Preventive Medicine. Dr. Harbrecht’s specialties include Cardiology, cholesterol treatment and risk-reduction-cardiovascular. Dr. Harbrecht practices in multiple locations including The University of Kansas Hospital, and the Mid-America Cardiology offices in Overland Park, Harrisonville and Rockhill.
Golfology fore Cardiology’s purpose, to raise funds to develop and support a new program at The University of Kansas Hospital’s Center for Advanced Heart Care aimed at preventing vascular disease, is well aligned with the work Dr. Harbrecht does with his patients every day.
